A webinar on the topic " প্ৰাক্- স্বাধীনতা কালৰ অসমীয়া সামজিক উপন্যাসত নতুন চিন্তা- চেতনাৰ উন্মেষ" (PRAK- SWADHINATA KALAR ASOMIYA SAMAJIK UPONYAKHOT NOTUN CHINTA-CHETONAR UNMEKH ) was organized by DIET, Sivasagar , Sonari under the chairmanship of Sri Rajen Dutta , Principal (i/c) DIET,Sivasagar and invited Resource Person Dr. Gayatri Chutia Bordoloi , Associate Professor , Jorhat Kendriya Mahavidyalaya through the online platform Google meet on 8th July ,2021 from 4 P.M to 5.30 PM..The webinar was Co-ordinated by Sri Pulak Chutia ,Lecturer ,DIET Sivasagar .The participants were the Trainees and Faculties of DIET ,Sivasagar and the Students, Research Scholars ,Teachers from other Educational Institutions.

The RP shared some detailed information about the new ideas ,thoughts that were reflected in the Assamese novels published during the pre-independent period.

A question and interaction session was held in which the participants also shared some information with the RP.

The webinar was ended by 'Vote of thanks' given by Sri Dhrubojyoti Borah, Lecturer ,DIET,Sivasagr ,Sonari.
